Day 1:
Try to keep the shenanigans under control as you travel to the airport with fellow travelers for your departure flight on our Emerald Escape tour! **Please keep April 19, 2026, open in case of flight changes.**
Day 2:
Meals: Dinner
Following arrival at Dublin Airport, you will enjoy a tour of Dublin City, founded as a Viking settlement and home to the Irish Parliament since the creation of the Irish Free State in 1922. On your tour, you will see the Georgian Squares with their 18th Century houses, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Phoenix Park (biggest town park in Europe), statue filled O’Connell Street and the fashionable Grafton Street. You will also see Trinity College which houses the Book of Kells. At Guinness Brewery, founded in 1759 by Arthur Guinness, you will enjoy a guided tour which concludes with a leisurely pint of Guinness, if you choose, in the 360-degree roof top bar while enjoying some spectacular views of Dublin City. This evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner in your hotel, The Camden Court Hotel.
Day 3:
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
This morning, we travel south to County Kildare, the center of Ireland’s horse breeding industry where you will enjoy a guided tour of the Irish National Stud Farm. Cashel is our next stop for a guided tour of the amazing Rock of Cashel, the seat of the Kings of Munster from 370 – 1101 with early associations with St. Patrick. Kinsale will be our last stop of the day where you will check into the Trident Hotel overlooking Kinsale Harbor for a 2-night stay. Kinsale is a historic fishing town with some old cobble stone streets and many interesting shops and pubs and is known as the gourmet capital of Ireland. This evening, we will enjoy dinner in the hotel’s Pier One Restaurant.

Day 4:
Meals: Breakfast
This morning you travel to Cobh, one of the main points of emigration during the great famine and the last port of call for the Titanic. Here you will visit “The Queenstown Story” which portrays the hardship of life on board ship as it sailed to the “New World”. Then on to Blarney where you will have an opportunity to visit Blarney Castle and kiss the famous Blarney Stone said to bestow the gift of eloquence on all those who dare. Back in Kinsale, the remainder of the afternoon is free to enjoy browsing in its many shops, enjoy the harbour and observe the marina activity.
Day 5:
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
This morning you depart Kinsale and travel along the southern coastline to Mizen Head, the most southerly point of Ireland. You can also take a 10-minute walk along the path, to the Arched Bridge over the crashing waves to the Lighthouse. Following this adventure, you will travel up the coast via lovely lazy towns & villages to Kenmare. Then on to some of the most stunning scenery of Ireland, a 20 mile stretch of the ring of Kerry. This evening you will overnight in centrally located Killarney Towers Hotel for a 2-night stay. Later, you will enjoy dinner in your hotel.
Day 6:

Today you will enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the Dingle Peninsula, once cited as the most beautiful place on earth by National Geographic. You will visit Brian de Staic studio in Dingle which specializes in Celtic jewelry, handcrafted and engraved with ancient Celtic symbols. As you continue around Slea Head, you will get some breathtaking views of the Atlantic coastline and see some beehive huts (early monastic settlements) dating back over a thousand years. Your tour will take you to the most westerly point of Ireland where you can view the Blasket Islands. You will have some free time in Dingle for lunch before returning to Killarney.
Day 7:

This morning, we travel to Tarbert where you board the Shannon Ferry, which crosses the Shannon Estuary to Killimer. From here you take the coastal road to the majestic Cliffs of Moher which rises to a height of 600 ft over the Atlantic Ocean. Following some free time to view the cliffs, your tour winds its way through the lunar type of landscape of the Burren, 350 sq. kilometers limestone plateau in North Clare. You continue along the shores of Galway Bay to Galway City before arriving at your hotel overlooking Galway Bay for a 2-night stay. This evening you will enjoy dinner in your hotel.
Day 8:
Meals: Breakfast
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the mainland and travel to Rossaveal via ferry to Inishmore, the largest of the three Aran Islands and one of the highlights of the Wild Atlantic Way. The island is steeped in history and resembles an outdoor museum with over 50 different monuments of Christian, pre-Christian, and Celtic mythological heritage. You will take a mini bus tour of the island which will include a stop at the world-renowned fort of Dun Aonghasa that spans the entire western part of the island. Enjoy the spectacular views before boarding the ferry for your return journey to Galway.
Day 9:
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
This morning, we journey into Northern Ireland: No visible borders, yet a different country nonetheless, part of the United Kingdom. Throughout the day, we’ll cross the border several times as we wind our way through the countryside, making various stops along the route. Our travels bring us to the charming village of Belleek, nestled along the banks of the River Erne. Belleek is best known for its exquisite Parian China, crafted at Belleek Pottery, the oldest working pottery in Ireland and a treasured favorite among collectors worldwide. Following a guided tour, you continue to Donegal for an overnight stay in the Sandhouse Hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This evening you will dine in the hotel’s elegant Seashell Restaurant.
Day 10:
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
This morning, you travel to Derry City on the banks of the River Foyle. Derry City was founded in 546AD and still retains its 17C walls. You continue to Limavady where you begin the Antrim Coast Road Drive. Of course, no visit to Northern Ireland would be complete without a visit to the Giant’s Causeway – a remarkable basaltic formation made of approximately 37,000 columns and ranked as one of the natural wonders of the world. Your tour continues along the Antrim Coast Road with spectacular views of the northern coastline to Belfast where you will check into the Stormont Hotel. This evening you will enjoy dinner in your hotel.
Day 11:
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
This morning, we tour Belfast City. You will see the City Hall, one of the finest Classical Renaissance buildings in Europe, the Linen Hall Library which has been lending books for over 200 years, the Grand Opera House often described as the most beautiful Victorian theatre in the world. You will drive by the many murals that Belfast has become famous for. They depict the history and political views of both traditions and are a way of marking territory. You will also visit Titanic Belfast, a new state-of-the-art visitor center which tells the story of the ill-fated RMS Titanic, and her sister ships RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic. This afternoon completes your tour of the island. Tonight, you’ll stay in Dublin at The City North Hotel where you will enjoy a farewell dinner in your hotel.
Day 12:
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, you will travel to Dublin Airport for your flight home with fond memories and newly acquired accents and many stories to relay to friends and family. Beannacht De agus go N’eiri on bothair Libh (God’s blessing and may the road rise to meet you).
