Sit back, relax and leave your worries behind today as you climb aboard our coach and meet your travel companions. This evening, we stay in Illinois.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

We have lunch in Amish Country at Das Dutchman Essenhaus Restaurant in Middlebury, IN, for a family-style meal, including PIE! You have time to browse the shops and pick out some tasty Amish treats before we continue towards Grand Rapids, MI where we stop for the night.

Day 3:

Today we go back in time! We arrive in Mackinaw City, MI for lunch on your own before catching the ferry to this charming island on the Great Lakes. Mackinac Island is a land where the horse and carriage were never replaced by the automobile; world renowned fudge awaits all along main street, one can take in the stunning views from Arch Rock, enjoy the colorful gardens, and lakefront views. We stay on the island for 3 nights. PS…did you know that Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island are pronounced the same way? “MACK-in-aw”.

Day 4:

Meals: Lunch

This morning, we enjoy a Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour of the island before arriving at The Grand Hotel for lunch. Afterwards, feel free to explore the beautiful grounds, rest a spell in the rocking chairs along the massive porch of the Grand Hotel, and visit the shops. The friendly staff may even let you peak into a few rooms. Will you find the secret garden? We can’t tell you because – it’s a secret! Take a leisurely stroll back to town, taking in the sights along the way, since the rest of the day is yours!
