250th Independence Day Celebration - In Boston, MA

June 29-July 9, 2026 11 Days 16 Meals $100 Per Person Deposit Required Your package includes deluxe transportation, accommodations, all listed tour fees, and 16 meals. Each year, we celebrate America’s independence with our family and friends. July 4, 2026, marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and we are going to Boston, MA! We spend 3 nights in the area so we can immerse ourselves in the rich history of the American Revolution where our fight for independence was ignited. This unique adventure includes several points of interest including a guided tour around Boston, a free day to take in the sights on your own, a Harbor City Lunch Cruise, museums, and our own private (airconditioned) suite high in our hotel where we enjoy dinner and a fireworks display over the Charles River! Day 1:


Meals: Lunch

After picking up our fellow sons & daughters of Liberty, we travel to Terre Haute, IN to rest for the trails of freedom adventure ahead!

Day 2:


Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today we enjoy lunch at the famous Schmidt’s Sausage Haus Restaurant and have time to look around the German Village following our tasty, authentic German meal. After this feast, you’ll be ready for a nap on the way to our hotel for the night in Wadsworth, OH.

Day 3:


Meals: Breakfast

We join our fellow travelers on the big red bus and continue our journey northeast, full of anticipation for our visit to Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, PA! Here, you see massive steam locomotives and engaging exhibits that bring the rich legacy of America’s railroads to life. It’s the perfect start to a tour built on history, movement, and memorable moments. Our day comes to a close in Fishkill, NY.

Day 4:


Meals: Breakfast

Upon arrival today in Boston, MA you have some time for lunch, free time to shop, catch street performers, and take in the history of our first stop. We pick up our step-on-guide that shows us around Boston on a walk and drive tour showcasing the North End Freedom Trail, Paul Revere’s House and Statue, and more of the area’s iconic history. After taking in the sights, we settle into our home for 3 nights just across the Charles River in Cambridge, MA.

Today is yours to explore Boston with Hop on Hop off tickets!

Day 6:


Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Happy Independence Day! After breakfast, we board the Boston Harbor City Cruise for a 2 ½ hour tour that includes a large buffet lunch, views of the Boston Skyline, historic landmarks in Boston, and see the USS Constitution perform its annual turnaround, 21-gun salute in front of Fort Independence up close! You visit the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum where the event that started the American Revolution comes to life with historical interpreters, a full-scale replica of the 18th century sailing vessel, interactive exhibits, and more! Last, but certainly not least, is our main event from our private suite, high above the Charles River in our own hotel! We’ve arranged for you to have dinner with your traveling family with an airconditioned, view of the fireworks display celebrating America’s 250th anniversary!

Day 7:


Meals: Breakfast

Before departing Boston, we visit the USS Constitution Museum, an engaging experience bringing the story of America’s legendary warship, Old Ironsides, and the sailors who served aboard her to life. Next is a visit to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, majestically perched overlooking Boston Harbor. Immersive exhibits, personal artifacts, and comprehensive archives of JFK’s era create a living tribute to his legacy. As we begin our journey back westward, we overnight in Farmington, CT.

Photo Courtesy of Hershey Today you visit America’s Transportation Experience, AACA Museum, in Hershey, PA that showcases a vast collection of vintage vehicles including cars, buses, motorcycles, and more from the 1890’s through the 1980’s. Tonight we reminisce of days gone by in our dreams in Harrisburg, PA.

Day 9:


Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Did someone say chocolate? Climb aboard a charming vintage-style trolley and settle in for a journey through the sweet history of Hershey. Your lively conductor guide brings the story of Milton S. Hershey to life.  Our adventure continues with a classic, train-themed tour through Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, PA. We have lunch at the Hershey Food Hall before working our way to Washington, PA for the night.

Day 10:


Meals: Breakfast

The Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in Columbus, OH awaits our visit today! It is home to the iconic John F. Wolfe Palm House, spans approximately 13 acres where you experience botanical biomes, lush gardens, special horticulture and art exhibitions, seasonal offerings, and a collection of glass works by artist Dale Chihuly. We overnight in Terre Haute, IN.
