Along the way, we step aboard a few peaceful vessels that let us take in the beauty of the lakes up close. This is the perfect blend of comfort, discovery, and scenic splendor.Day 1:

As we journey north, take some time to relax and get acquainted with your fellow travelers. This evening, we settle in for the night at our hotel in Terre Haute, IN.
Day 2:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Get ready for a fun-filled day! We start by stretching our legs and sniffing out some sweet deals at the Warm Glow Candle Outlet in Centerville, IA. Tonight, enjoy an evening of great food and entertainment in Fremont, OH. It’s the perfect mix of shopping, dining, and delight leaving us ready to get a good night’s rest in our hotel for 2-nights in Port Clinton, OH.
Day 3:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today, we set sail across Lake Erie as we board Miller’s Ferry and head to the charming Put-In-Bay Island, often dubbed the “Key West of the North.” With its rich history and stunning shoreline views, it’s hard to imagine a better way to experience the beauty of Lake Erie. We enjoy a full day exploring the island before returning to our hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 4:

As we continue our journey north, we arrive at the iconic Niagara Falls and experience the thunderous roar and misty spray aboard the legendary Maid of the Mist for an unforgettable ride into the heart of the falls. Tonight we rest in Niagara Falls, NY.
Day 5:
Meals: Breakfast
After crossing the border into Canada, we make a quick photo stop at the famous Floral Clock, where vibrant blooms form a striking, oversized timepiece that’s as beautiful as it is unique. From there, enjoy some free time in the charming town of Niagara on the Lake, a true hidden gem filled with boutique shops, lovely scenery, and plenty of spots for a relaxing lunch. We board the Tall Ship Kajama for our second lake cruise, this time gliding across the sparkling waters of Lake Ontario. After our time on the water, we continue on to Oakville, ON where we settle in for the night.
Day 6:
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Today, we cross back into the United States and make our way to the charming town of Frankenmuth, MI—often called “Michigan’s Little Bavaria.” With its picturesque architecture, unique shops, and old-world charm, it’s the perfect place to stroll, shop, and soak up the Bavarian atmosphere during your free time. This evening, we have a delicious family-style dinner at Zehnder’s, a legendary restaurant known for its world-famous fried chicken and warm hospitality. After a hearty and memorable meal, we head to Saginaw, MI for our overnight stay.
Day 7:
Meals: Breakfast
We journey north until we arrive in scenic Traverse City, MI. Step back in time as we board the Tall Ship Manitou, a magnificent replica of an 1800s cargo schooner for a memorable cruise on Lake Michigan. Following this unforgettable sailing experience, we continue on to Mackinaw City, MI where we spend 2-nights.
Day 8:

Today, we set sail on the sparkling waters of Lake Huron aboard Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry. Upon arrival, enjoy a grand tour of the island on their Horse Carriage Tour, taking in its iconic sights and timeless charm. Afterward, you have the rest of the day to explore Mackinac Island at your own pace whether it’s shopping, sightseeing, or simply soaking in the island’s beauty. As evening approaches, the ferry takes us back to the mainland to return to our hotel in Mackinaw City.
Day 9:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Be sure you remember to bring your camera today! We travel through the scenic beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! Our first stop is the breathtaking Tahquamenon Falls, where you have time to take in the views and enjoy a delicious, included lunch. From there, we make our way to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for an unforgettable evening cruise adventure on Lake Superior. This spectacular cruise carries us along 40 miles of the most stunning shoreline in the Great Lakes region. Witness remarkable sights like East Channel Lighthouse, Grand Island, Miner's Castle, Painted Coves, Lover’s Leap, and more, each with its own story and striking beauty. After this awe-inspiring experience, we unwind for the evening at our hotel in Munising, MI.
Day 10:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After experiencing the splendor of all five Great Lakes, we begin our journey homeward. Tonight, we settle in for the evening in Normal, IL as we reflect on the memories made along the way.

From scenic cruises to lakeside discoveries, we’ve shared days of joy, laughter, and connection. Though we now return to everyday life, the memories we’ve made and the friendships we’ve built will stay with us for years to come.
