From cascading waterfalls to coastal wonders, this Summer Journey through the Pacific Northwest promises nature’s finest show of Waterfalls, Wild Beauty, & Whales. Marvel at the power of Shoshone and Snoqualmie Falls, trace the Columbia River’s dramatic path through the Cascade Locks, and stand in awe before the mighty Mount St. Helens. Along the way, we cruise in search of whales, wander through Victoria’s enchanting Butchart Gardens, and soak up breathtaking views from start to finish. This tour is filled with refreshing breezes, floral beauty, and unforgettable moments crafted for those who love the great outdoors with a touch of tranquility.Day 1:
It’s time to pick up fellow travelers and get more acquainted as we make our way to Lincoln, NE for the night.
Day 2:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Our journey westward begins with a visit to The Archway, officially known as the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument. The Archway straddles the interstate with its impressive over 300-foot structure designed in hues reminiscent of a Midwest sunrise. This hidden gem immerses its visitors in a timeline from Native routes and pioneer wagons to railroads and road trips. We have lunch here before making our way to Laramie, WY to rest for the night.
Day 3:
Meals: Breakfast
Watch the beautiful scenery transform as we travel from the high-elevation plains and semi-arid desert, past alpine forests and lakes, across salt flats, and into steep canyonlands carved by the Weber River. It’s a route rich in contrast from open skies to mountain corridors, from sagebrush to pine trees, offering a dynamic cross-section of western landscapes. The breathtaking scenery continues at our hotel in Ogden, UT with views of the Wasatch Mountains.
Day 4:
Meals: Breakfast
At Shoshone Falls Park, often called “Niagara of the West,” on the Snake River just outside of Twin Falls, ID you witness awe-inspiring natural power and expansive canyon views. At the Idaho State Museum, Boise, ID peer into Idaho’s rich history through dynamic, immersive exhibits. Our trail ends here for the night as we rest for more adventure tomorrow.
Day 5:
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
The Sage Center, Sustainable Agriculture and Energy Center, Boardman, OR gives insight into farming technology, food production, and Eastern Oregon industry with an opportunity to experience hands-on exhibits such as driving a tractor simulator and operating irrigation controls to learn how this arid land is farmed and powered. Tonight, enjoy an amazing Columbia River Dinner Cruise, Cascade Locks, OR along the Cascade Gorge with incredible sights along the Columbia River. We overnight here in Cascade Locks, OR.
Day 6:

The view from Coldwater Ridge Visitor Center is breathtaking, revealing the scarred yet resilient landscape from the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens, the shimmering stillness of Coldwater Lake, and the vast sweep of the Toutle Valley below—a powerful reminder of nature’s force and renewal. Tonight, we settle into our hotel for 2 nights in Sequim, WA.
Day 7:

This morning, we board the Puget Sound Express, Port Townsend, WA for a whale-watching adventure! As we cruise through the sparkling waters of the Pacific, keep your eyes open for incredible marine life and breathtaking coastal views. We also enjoy a stop at Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, where you have a couple of hours to explore this charming seaside town. Sit back, relax, and let the beauty of the Pacific Northwest unfold before you.
Day 8:
Meals: Breakfast
Our adventure begins today with a ferry ride across the picturesque Salish Sea to Victoria, BC. Expect to see an expanse of island studded waters, coastal forests, and the welcoming serene silhouette of Victoria Isle. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch on your own and tour Butchart Gardens, a world-renowned botanical oasis, with exquisitely landscaped gardens boasting vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and tranquil water features. Tonight, we settle in at our Victoria area hotel.
Day 9:
Meals: Breakfast
We begin our adventure today with a guided tour of Victoria, BC. The marvelous architecture and tranquil foliage are prevalent and defining features of this amazing portion of North America. Our return ferry this afternoon takes us back to Sequim, WA where we overnight.
Day 10:
Meals: Breakfast
For our last day together in the Pacific Northwest, we take in the breathtaking beauty of Snoqualmie Falls, one of Washington’s most iconic natural landmarks, where water plunges 268 feet into a misty canyon below. After soaking in the views, we continue to the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, set against a backdrop of wooded hills from the Issaquah Alps. As you learn about the fascinating life cycle of Pacific salmon, take in the tranquil watercourse flowing through the landscape while watching salmon swim upstream. In preparation for our flight home tomorrow, we catch some shut eye in our Seattle, WA hotel.
Day 11:
