Day 1:

Today, with our coats, scarves and mittens in tow, we begin our journey northwest to the beautiful winter in Wyoming. After meeting new friends along the way, we will stop for the night in Lincoln, NE.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

This morning, we will stop at fan favorite The Archway in Kearney, NE for a tour and lunch on us. This unique structure, designed by the Walt Disney team, stretches over 300 feet across the interstate. The Archway is a visually stunning, hands-on history lesson about westward expansion and America’s transportation development over the years. Our journey continues to our stop for the night in Laramie, WY.

Day 3:

Meals: Breakfast

Today, our travels take us to our long-awaited destination of Jackson, WY. Here we will call The Virginian Lodge home for the next 3 nights! Turn in early! Tomorrow is a big, big day! Photo Provided Courtesy of Visit Jackson Hole

Day 4:

Meals: Lunch

Let’s bundle up and board a shuttle van that will pick us up directly from our lodge and take us to Yellowstone National Park where we will board our Snow Coach for a full day of sightseeing! Our tour will include iconic locations like Old Faithful, Moose Falls, Lewis Canyon and West Thumb Geyser Basin. With a memorable day behind us, we will return to our lodge for the evening. Day 5:

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Our second day in Jackson, WY begins with a traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride through the National Elk Refuge. The refuge is a 25,000-acre winter haven established to protect one of North America’s largest elk herds. We may even see bison, mule deer, bighorn sheep and bald eagles! For lunch, we will dine at the Palate Restaurant at the museum before touring the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This museum is perched on a bluff overlooking the National Elk Refuge. We will return to our Lodge this afternoon for some free time enjoying the amenities at your lodge like gathering with friends by a firepit (Complimentary s’mores kits are available from the front desk or saloon tonight), enjoying the all-season heated pools and hot tubs, or spend some time enjoying Town Square in Jackson. Day 6:

Meals: Breakfast

This morning, we begin our journey home, reminiscing about the amazing sights we’ve seen. On the way to our hotel for the night in Laramie, WY, we will stop to see the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, WY. This museum offers a compelling window into the fur-trade era as a hands-on-tribute to the rugged fur trappers, explorers, and Native American cultures that shaped the Rocky Mountains in the early 19th century.

Day 7:

Meals: Breakfast

Today is a travel day as we work our way closer to home. Enjoy time with your new friends you’ve met along the way. We will stop in WaKeeney, KS for the night.

Day 8:

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

After a shorter day of travel, we have an exciting evening planned for you! We are taking you to the New Theatre & Restaurant for dinner and A Tribute to Elvis & Elton show! We will rest tonight in Overland Park, KS.

Day 9:

Meals: Breakfast

We are homeward bound today. We hope you’ve enjoyed our bucket list tour that will leave you with memories to share with your friends and family. Thank you for being a part of our traveling family! Photo Provided Courtesy of Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance
