This is the beauty of the West and the adventure of a lifetime! Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and a Cruise on Jackson Lake in the Grand Tetons are just some of the many exciting escapades that are certain to leave you with life-long memories! You do not want to miss a single moment!

Day 1:

Like the pioneers before us, we prepare to head out west.  However, unlike the pioneers our wagon has wings, and we’re headed to the airport.  Get a good night’s rest because tomorrow we fly!!

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast

We catch our flight to Salt Lake City, UT, where we will meet our bus. We will see a few sights in Salt Lake City and then head north towards the Grand Tetons.

Day 3:

Meals: Breakfast

Today finds us making a couple of fun and educational stops in Idaho as we continue our journey to the beautiful Grand Tetons. We will stay in Idaho Falls, ID, tonight.

Day 4:

Meals: Breakfast

We’ll enjoy an incredible “Scenic Drive” and take in the unforgettable scenery as we make our way to Jackson Square in Jackson WY! We will have some free time here, giving you a photo opportunity in front of the famous Antler Arches! Rolling on down the road, we will find ourselves at Grand Teton National Park, where we will see breathtaking, magnificent terrain, including Jenny Lake! If this full day of Wyoming scenery hasn’t spurred your senses, we have planned to end our day with a Jackson Lake Cruise before retiring to our hotel in Jackson WY.

Day 5:

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today, we continue to embed the views of the magnificent Grand Tetons in our memories as we drive north to Yellowstone National Park where we will see the one and only Old Faithful geyser! Watch in amazement as this predictable geyser erupts and sends a fountain of steam more than 60 feet into the air; certainly a sight you will never forget! We’ll take in more sites in the southern part of Yellowstone as we make our way to Cody, WY, for the next 2 nights.

Day 6:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We get an early start with our step-on-guide in Yellowstone National Park, America’s first and largest national park. Our tour will include a scenic drive to view the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River where we will see plunging waterfalls twice as high as Niagara. For lunch today, we’ve made plans to pack you a lunch for a picnic here in Yellowstone.  Be on the lookout for large free-roaming herds of bison and elk!  The beauty of Yellowstone is something that transcends words.  There is not enough room here to try to describe the wonders waiting for us in Yellowstone. After a big day in Yellowstone, we return to Cody for a chuckwagon meal and show at the Cody Cattle Company before retiring to our hotel for some rest before another exciting day tomorrow.

Day 7:

Meals: Breakfast

Let’s start our day with the wild wild west at Buffalo Bill Center of the West.  It has 5 amazing museums under one roof!  After enjoying the history, art and culture of the West, we travel to Big Horn Lake for a cruise. Have your camera ready as we drive across the beautiful Big Horn Mountains this afternoon on our way to Sheridan, WY, where we will stay overnight.

Day 8:

Meals: Breakfast

Be sure to bring your camera because we have an exciting and full day of sightseeing! This morning, we head to Devils Tower, WY. Did you know, while Yellowstone was our nation’s first national park, Devil’s Tower was our nation’s first national monument. It’s time to leave Wyoming behind and turn our attention to South Dakota for the next part of our journey with a scenic drive through Spearfish Canyon. This 19-mile gorge is flanked by rock walls of pink, gray and tan limestone, sporadically dotted with cascading waterfalls. We will stop along the way so you can take pictures of this magnificent terrain. We will be overnighting in the Rapid City area for the next two nights.

Day 9:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today, our drive takes us to Keystone, SD, where we will experience the one and only Mount Rushmore! Afterwards we will explore the grandeur of Crazy Horse Memorial, the world’s largest sculptural undertaking, literally a mountain. This is a massive memorial honoring all Native North Americans. While here, we have arranged for us to experience something truly special just an “arm’s length” away! We will travel to the top of the monument and have a chance to walk out on the arm!

Day 10:

Meals: Breakfast

A trip to South Dakota wouldn’t be complete without a drive through the Badlands. After a stop at the Badlands National Park, we’ll travel east across South Dakota. After a stop at Chamberlain Lewis & Clark Welcome Center, overlooking the Missouri River, we will retire for the day in Mitchell, SD.

Day 11:

Meals: Breakfast

We begin our day in Mitchell, SD, where we will visit the World’s Only Corn Palace! “Ear” us when we say this is a picture stop like none other! After this “corny” stop, we head towards beautiful Sioux Falls, SD, for adventure, including Sioux City Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. After enjoying the splendor of South Dakota’s agriculture, we will head south to Council Bluffs, IA, for the night.

Day 12:

Meals: Breakfast

We journey home today but have enjoyed some fabulous sites of The West and made some new friends along the way. Can you choose just one favorite memory made?
