Celebrate this New Year’s tradition in beautiful Pasadena, CA! View the magnificent floral floats, gallant equestrians and talented marching bands from reserved seats. Shop for one-of-a-kind items at the internationally acclaimed South Coast Plaza Shopping Resort and settle in for four nights at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa, located in the heart of Orange County. Also included is a day trip to the breathtaking Catalina Island. Here, you’ll be able to visit the float barns to see the last-minute float preparations plus FloatFest after the parade!
Our colorful trip begins as we gather our fellow travelers and rest up for an exciting end-of-year adventure!

Day 1:

We start our day by boarding a westbound plane heading for the heart of Orange County! This evening, a delicious welcome feast awaits. The next 4 nights our home will be at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, you’ll be taken on a Pre-Parade Float Tour, where there will be several of the floats waiting and you’ll observe some of the final touches of assembly. Then, lunch will be at the famous Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. You’ll finish the day by experiencing Hollywood like never before! Take a guided tour of a working Hollywood Studio. You’ll see where the movie magic is made and learn about the rich history of the film industry. The evening will be spent at the South Coast Plaza. With more than 35 distinct eateries, from award-winning restaurants to grab-and-go options, this shopping center offers a wide variety for every palate.  

Day 3:

Adventure awaits as we head to Catalina Island. You’ll board one of the Catalina Island Express ferries for a one-hour cruise. Once you arrive, the day is yours to get acquainted with the storybook town of Avalon, CA, which you’ll find is packed with boutiques, restaurants and lots more! You may want to explore the historic casino, take a guided tour of Avalon or rent a golf cart or bicycle to sightsee on your own. This evening, we’ll bring in the new year in style with a New Year’s Eve Dinner filled with elegant food, dancing and the excitement of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. There will be hats and party favors, a drawing for exciting prizes and a champagne toast to ring in 2026!

Today we’ll experience our main event, the Tournament of Roses Parade! Upon arriving in Pasadena, CA, you will have reserved premium grandstand seats to watch the Rose Parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard. After the parade, you’ll be treated to a Southern California-style BBQ at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa. This evening, we will be entertained with an exclusive live performance.

This morning, we head back to Pasadena for FloatFest, where all the parade floats will be on display! Later that morning, we will head to the John Wayne Orange County Airport for our departing flight.

After a restful night, we’ll board our bus for the journey home. There’s no better way to start 2026 than with new friends and new memories!
