Meals: Lunch
As you climb aboard our coach, leave your worries behind. Meet your travel companions today and make memories as we will be starting our journey with an included lunch today. This evening, we’ll be staying in Rantoul, IL.
Day 2:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
The excitement builds as we continue north. We stop in Amish Country for a family-style meal before heading to our hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to get some rest before setting sail.
Day 3:
Meals: Breakfast
We continue traveling by bus before being ferried to the most magical island on the Great Lakes. Mackinac Island is a land where the horse and carriage were never replaced by the automobile; family-owned lodging properties were never replaced by corporate hotels, and fudge stores never replaced their 19th-century recipes with instant mixes. We will overnight on the island for 3 nights.
Day 4:
Meals: Lunch
This morning, we enjoy a carriage tour of the island before arriving at The Grand Hotel for lunch. After our meal, feel free to explore the iconic formations, majestic churches, and unique stores
Day 5:
Guess what we have planned for everybody today? NOTHING! So, take this opportunity to relax, walk, shop, eat, or do anything you want! There is no better place to explore and make memories!
Day 6:
Meals: Dinner
We leave the peace of Mackinac Island to explore the one and only Frankenmuth, known for its Bavarian-style architecture. This lovely little town is bound to delight the senses as we visit Bronner Christmas Wonderland. Here at Bronner, you have a chance to do some souvenir shopping at the world's largest Christmas store, where Christmas is celebrated 361 days a year! Top this off with a Meal at the Bavarian Restaurant to make this a day to remember. We will be spending the night here in Frankenmuth.
Day 7:
Meals: Breakfast
We have been exploring the past these last few days, but this morning, we jump back into the 20th century as we continue down the interstate on our way homeward. We will overnight in Terre Haute, IN.
Day 8:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
On our way back today, we have one more included meal together as we reminisce about the good, old-fashioned memories we made on this trip back in time.
