A trip to the warm climate of the Florida coast is the perfect way to escape the frigid winter chill. Paradise awaits us on this escape to warm tropical temps! We have loads of fun and excitement in store for you on this sunny getaway from Savannah to the Florida Keys; you’re gonna have a blast! We can’t wait to head out and make some memories with you.Day 1:
Meals: Day One
An easy day awaits us on the first day of our journey to find the sunshine. As we hit the open road, take this time to make new friends as we head towards our first overnight in Horn Lake, Mississippi.
Day 2:
Meals: Breakfast
We continue onward today as we make our way closer to our destination. We stop this morning in Tupelo, MS, at the <strong>Elvis Presley Birthplace &</strong> <strong>Museum</strong>. In 1934, Vernon Presley borrowed $180 for materials to build a small frame house in East Tupelo. It was in this little house on January 8, 1935, that the King of Rock n Roll was born. We move on to Morrow, GA, where we will be overnighting.
Day 3:
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Movie fans and history enthusiasts - The Road to Tara Museum welcomes you! This museum holds items from the incredible movie Gone with the Wind and artifacts from the Civil War. Admire Scarlett’s elaborate dresses or browse the extensive cultural collections. We will end our day in our hotel in historic downtown Savannah, where we will stay for the night.
Day 4:
Meals: Breakfast
This morning, you’ll have some free time to explore the town of Savannah with your Hop-on, Hop-off Trolley Passes or stroll along the quaint cobblestone streets, where old cotton warehouses have been converted into trendy shops, taverns, and restaurants. After that, we continue south until we cross into Florida and arrive at our hotel for the next two nights on St. Augustine Beach.
Day 5:

Are you ready for more excitement in the first of many incredible cities? That’s the plan! Today we’ll be taking a trolley tour of the city of St. Augustine. Today you can spend your day however you like, exploring the history of this incredible old city or soaking up the sun at the beach. Take your time, kick back, and relax.
Day 6:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Houston: There are NO problems today as we are headed to the Kennedy Space Center to tour this historic landmark. From the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions, you can get an up-close, handson feel for the story of humans in space—fuel your quest for inspiration. After our time here, we will need to return to Earth and continue our travels. We find ourselves in the outskirts of Miami for our overnight
Day 7:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
We start this day by boarding the Island Queen, a beautiful modern yacht, for a fantastic sightseeing cruise along scenic Biscayne Bay. See Miami’s spectacular coastal sites, including the beautiful downtown Miami skyline, the Port of Miami, Fisher Island, Miami Beach, and “Millionaire’s Row” - the homes of the rich and famous. You’ll have the rest of the afternoon free to do a little shopping at the festive Bayside Marketplace. Tonight, we head to Florida City, FL, for our overnight.
Day 8:
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
We have an exciting day planned for everybody today -we will be driving to Key West - The Southernmost point in the U.S! However, as we are making this scenic drive, we will make a couple of stops along the route. The first stop will be in Key Largo for a glass bottom boat tour. You’ll get a chance to explore a coral reef without ever even getting wet. As the trip heads to the coral reefs, you’ll experience the vibrant colors of the sea set in a panoramic view. The next stop will be at the Dolphin Research Center, home to a pod of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions that live in a natural lagoon setting in the Gulf of Mexico. Afterward, we will head to our hotel in Key West.
Day 9:
Meals: Breakfast
Today get ready to discover Key West as we take a Conch Train tour of this incredible city. You will be learning some of the history and legends of Key West. You have the rest of the day free to check out some sights of the city, such as the Harry Truman Little White House, Key West Lighthouse, Mallory Square, or even the Key West Shipwreck Treasure Museum. There are loads of places to see here. Be sure to get a snapshot to show friends and say “I was here” at the Southernmost Point Buoy. It is a colorful concrete buoy in Key West, Florida, marking one of the extreme points of the United States.
Day 10:
Meals: Breakfast
Today we say goodbye to Key West, and since we are at the Southernmost point in the U.S., there is only one direction we can go from here. So as we head north, we have to cross the Everglades, one of the world’s most extensive wetlands. While here, there is only one way to see this beautiful landscape. We’ll hop on board an Airboat for an Everglades Expedition. This experience will leave you in awe, with memories that will last a lifetime. Leaving here, we continue onward and find ourselves in Sanibel, FL, at our hotel
Day 11:
Meals: Breakfast
This morning, we have some free time at the beach, known for its seashells. After a few hours of relaxation on this incredible beach, we continue north until we arrive in Sarasota for a tour of The Ringling Home. This museum features stunning art collections, fascinating exhibitions, and unique performances. Our hotel tonight is here in Sarasota.
Day 12:
Meals: Breakfast
Today is primarily a travel day as we continue north; however, we will stop in Tallahassee, FL, where we will tour the Florida Historic Capitol. Restored to its 1902 appearance, the Historic Capitol stands as an icon at the center of Florida’s Capitol complex. Our hotel tonight will be here in Tallahassee.
Day 13:
Meals: Breakfast
Now no trip to Florida could ever be complete if you didn’t get to see some Alligators. Therefore, we will stop at Gator Beach, the world’s most extraordinary Alligator Park (self-proclaimed!). While here, you can take your picture with a baby alligator or feed the gators if you feel adventurous. There are also free Gator shows you can attend. This is definitely a Florida experience you won’t soon forget. Leaving here, we continue to Pensacola, where you have the rest of the day to do anything that strikes your fancy. There is plenty to do here in this lovely city. We’ll stay beachside here in Pensacola, FL, for two nights.
Day 14:
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Today will be our last day in the Sunshine State, so we will make this day special with a morning Dolphin Cruise. On this cruise in Pensacola Bay, you can relax and enjoy natural entertainment as we watch the dolphins splashing about. Following our dolphin adventure, you have a choice, you can either ride the bus and enjoy a guided tour of Pensacola, or you can head back to the hotel and enjoy some final beach time.
Day 15:
Meals: Breakfast
We bid farewell to the Sunshine State as we start homeward and back to the lands of winter. So, take some time today to reminisce about all the incredible places you’ve seen on this journey—our travel today ends at our hotel in Batesville, MS.
Day 16:
Meals: Breakfast
Our time together ends on Day 16, but the memories will last a lifetime.
