Historic missions, River Walk restaurants, and Spanish architecture make this a beautiful city any time of year, but with its thousands of luminarias and Christmas lights-it is indeed magnificent. Day 1:

The excitement of Christmas is in the air as we board our coach for a travel day as we begin this totally awesome Christmas tour. Our overnight will be in Sherman, TX.

Day 2:

We continue south to the spectacular city of San Antonio all dressed up in holiday finery. We arrive in time to check in to our hotel and settle in before enjoying an amazing meal at the Chart House Revolving Restaurant at the top of the Tower of Americas. Be sure and make your way to the observation deck for a breathtaking view of San Antonio at night all brilliantly lit up with holiday lights.

Day 3:

An exciting day will be yours to enjoy as you have a pre-paid, full-day excursion on the city sightseeing San Antonio red double decker buses. This is a hop-on, hop-off tour where you can get off at any attraction or restaurant you want to see, stay as long as you wish, go back to the place you got off and catch the next bus to continue your tour. The day is yours

This morning we will make our way into the Hill Country. First stopping at the Cross at Kerrville, located in the Texas Hill Country. Each year, thousands of people travel from around the world to experience the power and presence of God at the free, 24.5-acre, Kerrville, Texas spiritual art park. Next up we arrive in Fredericksburg, full of decorations flavored by German heritage. With 150 shops, galleries, and boutiques plus over 700 significant structures in the historic district, shopping and history literally surround you. This afternoon we make our way back to our hotel in San Antonio and get rested up for another exciting day. We do need to return to the hotel early this evening to prepare for an exciting gondola ride on the river. This amazing boat tour connects you to the city’s timeless charm! These enthusiastic and knowledgeable boat captains will share fascinating stories about the city’s culture, history and architecture during our unforgettable tour along the San Antonio River.

We depart beautiful San Antonio and start our journey northward. En route we will stop at a little local attraction Magnolia Market. (Yes fans, this is the one owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV’s Fixer Upper.) Here you can do a little local shopping and taste the local food. We arrive for our last overnight in Sherman, TX

We travel back home today, but we are certain you will agree that the history, people, sights, and sounds of San Antonio all create wonderful holiday memories. Making Memories has one more treat for you before we say our goodbyes. An awesome farewell Christmas lunch in Chouteau, Oklahoma, cooked and served as only the Amish know how. Um-m, good!
