Tour Description
Your package includes deluxe transportation and accommodations, all listed tour fees, and 3 meals.
This adventure will be a journey through time itself, back to the days of Cowboys and Indians. In Oklahoma, or as it used to be called Indian Territory, we will learn a great deal about a time and a place of both wilderness and freedom. Along the way you’ll be meeting new friends and of course “Making Memories”.
Day 1:
This trip is going to start out with a short drive to Tahlequah where we learn about the Native American culture and take a tour of a reconstructed Cherokee Village. We will depart here and overnight in Broken Arrow.
Day 2:
Meals: Breakfast
Our day will start out with a short drive to Oklahoma City. The first thing we will do upon arriving is go visit the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. This is America’s premier collection and Western artifacts, history and artwork. After we leave here we will take a ride on Oklahoma’s renowned water taxi which runs through the heart of Bricktown. Our next stop takes us through a little more recent history as we stop at the OKC Memorial Museum, dedicated to the men and women who lost their lives in the Oklahoma City bombing. It seems only proper to stop and pay our respects and learn a little about this tragedy; overnight in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Day 3:
Meals: Breakfast
Today we leave Oklahoma City behind and get a look and some of the landscape of Oklahoma’s green country. We will soon arrive at one of Oklahoma’s most interesting treasures, Woolaroc. Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve is a truly fascinating place with an amazing story. This museum is dedicated to the history of the Old West. It is also a drive thru Wildlife preserve that is home to more than thirty exotic varieties of wildlife including bison, zebra, ostriches, elk, llamas and much more. We will overnight in Tulsa tonight.
Day 4:
Meals: Breakfast
This is the last day of our journey, but it’s not quite over yet. We have one final destination that we know that you will love. It’s a little place called Har-Ber Village and it is truly a beautiful and wonderful place. We sincerely hope you have enjoyed yourself, learned a little, and of course, made some “Memories” with us.
