Day 1:

Today we start our pilgrimage to somewhere new and exciting! Since this is our first day together, you will want to spend time getting to know your new family for this venture, so relax and make some new friends. We will be overnighting tonight in Terra Haute, IN.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Ready for something truly unique? This morning we make our way over to River Jordan Camel Dairy; you read that correctly, a camel dairy! Now that is something you don’t see every day. Leaving here, we make our way to Middlebury, IN, where we will stay at the Essenhaus Inn for the next three nights. Dinner will be included tonight at the Das Dutchman Essenhaus.

Day 3:

Another exciting day awaits us as we wake this morning. Our journey first takes us to Lambright Country Chimes to check out some beautifully crafted Amish wind chimes. Afterward, we’ll head to the Shipshewana Flea Market, an open-air market and livestock auction with hundreds of vendors selling crafts, clothes & Amish food. Next, we will be going to the famous Yoder Department Store. This evening we will be experiencing Yoder’s Haystack dinner and Buggy Ride. What a way to end the day!

Day 4:

We spend today with our step-on guide as we become acquainted with the charm of the Amish Country. From back roads to buggy rides and farms to schoolhouses, we will tour everyday places in Amish life. This evening you will have the opportunity to experience something very few “English“ people have ever done. We will head to the Carriage House for an Amish wedding feast tonight. This is something you don’t want to miss!

This morning, we will have a surprise stop for everyone, here you can pick up some last-minute souvenirs before we head home. Leaving here, we start homeward and land in Effingham, IL, for our overnight.

Today we arrive home and say farewell to all our new family. So, spend today reflecting on all we’ve experienced and discovered. We hope you had an amazing time making some charming Amish Memories with us!
