Our guided tour ends in downtown Holland where we have some free time to enjoy the local cuisine. The Dutch Marketplace is located downtown and features authentic Dutch food, souvenirs, Music, Klompen Dance performances, and more! The adults are not the only ones who can show off, though. After lunch, the adorable local children show off their Dutch pride with genuine costumes, songs, and dances in the Kinderparade. The De Klomp Wooden Shoe Factory provides not only wooden shoes but also cookies, pastries, and intricate Dutch pottery. Our day may end, but our immersion into Dutch culture is not over because we will be returning.
