If you’re a theatre lover, this tour to Omaha is for you! The Orpheum Theater will perform the one and only “Hairspray,” This Broadway Experience will be right here in the Midwest for us to enjoy. We will also see Omaha’s sights and experience the local cuisine.

Day 1:

On the first day of our dramatic adventure, we head north to our overnight in St. Joseph, MO. Before reaching our hotel, we will visit the Arabia Steamboat Museum, where you can learn about life along the Missouri River in the 1800s.     map

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

We will start our morning at the Patee House Museum Tour & Carousel Ride. St. Joseph is best known for two things: the beginning of the Pony Express and the end of Jesse James, both directly connected to Patee House. Here, we will enjoy a ride on a vintage carousel! Free time follows in Omaha at the Old Market for some shopping and lunch. It’s been a busy day, but there’s still time to see “Hairspray” at the Orpheum Theater. What a day! After this incredible show, we will head to our hotel here in Omaha.

Day 3:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

This morning we will welcome a step-on guide for our tour of Omaha. After spending the morning learning about Omaha’s history and stories, a little lunch is in order. We have something special planned for lunch today: The Polish Home for a traditional Polish meal. At the end of the day, we will return to St. Joseph, MO, where we stayed on day one.

Day 4:

Meals: Breakfast

Before heading home today, we have one more stop to make, The Missouri Theatre. This architectural work of art is a historical masterpiece. Departing our last theater, we head for home. We hope the memories you made will last for many years.
