So, if you’ve ever wanted to see the majesty of Africa, grab your camera and join us for an African Safari. Hakuna Matata!

Day 1:

Brace yourself as we prepare for an adventure of a lifetime! Today, we load up on our coach and make our way to the hotel, so we can get to the airport for our flight in the morning.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast

Africa—the land of the lion and the elephant—a land of indescribable beauty. It is waiting for our arrival, so we will hop on our plane and begin our flight to the “Kingdom in the Sky.”

Day 3:

Meals: Dinner

Upon landing in Africa, we’ll have an easy day and take some time to check out the National Museum of Kenya as well as go to the Giraffe Center.  This evening your dinner is included at our hotel here in Nairobi.

Day 4:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast this morning, we will depart for Nairobi National Park, where we have a chance to enjoy a picnic in the park. This particular park is only a handful of kilometers from the city of Nairobi, so you can actually see the city skyline while looking out for lions, rhinos, zebras and other wildlife. Upon returning to our hotel this evening, we will be treated to a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day 5:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin our journey to the Maasai Mara, an area of preserved Savannah wilderness in Southwest Keya. Bordering on Tanzania, this landscape joins the Serengeti National Park, which is known for having the largest Big Cat population in the world. It is one of the crown jewels of Africa. Once we have seen these magnificent creatures, we stopover at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for a spectacular photo stop. Lunch will be included on arrival at your lodge. We will be departing around 4:00 p.m. for our evening game drive. Dinner is included at your lodge at Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 6:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning, we have an early optional hot air balloon safari as well as an early morning safari game drive for those who may not be interested in the balloon.  Today we have some free time to rest relax and enjoy the swimming pool. After an included lunch at the lodge, we take part in an afternoon game drive before returning to dinner at our lodge.

Day 7:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will be spending today out on Safari as we make our way through Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of lions, leopards, elephants, water buffalo and rhinos. Our meals are all included today at the lodge. This will be our final evening here at the Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 8:

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today, we’ll settle in as we hop in our jeeps and begin our journey from the Maasai Mara National Reserve and make our way through the countryside to our home for the next 2 nights in Sentrim Amboseli National Park. This area is known for its LARGE ELEPHANT HERDS and is considered one of Kenya’s most popular parks.  Our lodging is at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Along with gigantic elephants, you might also see monkeys, antelope, rhinos and many other African animals. While stunning, its beauty and terrain are very different than Masa Mara.

Day 9:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

An early morning game drive will be followed by breakfast back at the lodge. After breakfast, we have free time to enjoy the facilities of your lodge.  Lunch is included. In the early afternoon, we’ll enjoy a visit to a local Maasai village. Learn about the customs and way of living of the Maasai people.  After our visit, we continue with our evening game drive.  Dinner is included back at your lodge.

Day 10:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast this morning, we’ll start by making our way through the backcountry of Kenya to Ngutuni Lodge which is a private conservancy within the Tsavo East National Park region. This area in Tsavo is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya, and it’s known for its Red Elephants. With their red hide and smaller stature, these lumbering creatures look very different from their big, grey cousins. Lunch will be included on arrival. Relax after lunch before our departure this afternoon on a Safari in Tsavo East. Dinner will be included back at the lodge, which is really one of the most amazing places on the trip because it is built beside a giant watering hole!  Watch water buffaloes, antelope and zebras relax and refresh themselves at the water hole. It is truly an amazing sight!

Day 11:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We spend the morning at the lodge relaxing, enjoying area wildlife drinking and interacting at the watering hole. These are memories that will truly last a lifetime. This evening we will depart on our final Safari together into Tsavo.

Day 12:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, we make our way from the African Bush to the African Beach as we venture to Voi Station for our train ride to Mombasa. Here we can enjoy our first-class seating as we make our way to our Beach Resort. On arrival, we make our way to the beautiful Swahili Beach Resort on Diani Beach, which is located on the Indian Ocean. Free time on arrival with dinner included.

Day 13:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
