Prepare to experience an unforgettable New Year’s celebration, a celebration that is more than a century old – a festival of flowers, music and sports unequaled anywhere else in the world. It’s America’s New Year’s Celebration, a greeting to the world on the first day of the year, and a salute to the community spirit and love of pageantry that has thrived in Pasadena for more than 100 years. What began as a small effort by Pasadena’s distinguished Valley Hunt Club to promote the city’s charm and beautiful weather, the Tournament of Roses has since become America’s New Year’s Celebration. The Rose Parade is celebrating its 129th year in 2018, and now you can experience this one of a kind festival and cherish the memories made for a lifetime.

Day 1:

We start out today by flying to Southern California. Upon arrival we will make our way to the Hyatt Regency for our five night stay. A welcome dinner is prepared for us as we settle in and prepare for our “Ultimate” Rose Parade Experience.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast / Dinner – Optional Lunch
After breakfast, you’ll set out to spend the day your way. See the finishing touches being put on the parade floats followed by a visit to LA’s newest attraction. OUE Skyspace, located more than 1,000 feet above downtown Los Angeles on the 69th and 70th floors of the U.S. Bank Tower, is the tallest open air observation deck in California, offering visitors a unique, 360-degree view of the city (Lunch is included.) * * OR * * you may want to spend your day with a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood. It is your choice to make. The evening is at your leisure to do with as you wish.

Day 3:

Meals: Breakfast / Dinner – Optional Lunch
Choices, choices, and choices: You may want to spend the morning exploring the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library (box lunch included), followed by an afternoon VIP tram tour at Warner Bros. Studios * * OR* *explore Catalina Island * *OR * * enjoy a leisurely day in Long Beach with admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific and historic Queen Mary. Whatever you choose, it will be a great way to end 2017. But we are not done yet….. the evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing to a live band, and fun! There will be hats and party favors, a drawing for exciting prizes and a champagne toast to ring in 2018.

Meals: Breakfast / Champagne Brunch
Start your 2018 with an early morning buffet breakfast at the hotel before heading to Pasadena where you will have reserved premium grandstand seats as you watch the Rose Parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard, a souvenir program and seat cushion are included. After the parade you’ll return to the hotel for a special champagne brunch. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are at your leisure. Most attractions, shops and restaurants near the hotel are open on New Year’s Day.

Another hearty buffet breakfast is included before you travel back to Pasadena to the floats on display at the spectacular Showcase of Floats event. After viewing the floats, you’ll be treated to a special farewell lunch at Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. Spend time shopping at one of Southern California’s iconic piers and beach towns, Seal Beach. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure.

After Breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to new friends as you make your way to the airport for your flight back home. We hope you had a great time on this exciting trip! We’re sure you made some memories with us and hope to see you again.
