Tour Description

Your tour package will include deluxe transportation, accommodations, all listed tour fees, and 7 meals.

It has been said that of all the wonders Texas has to offer, from the vast limitless prairies to the wave crashed coast, it is the bluebonnets that are the true beauty of this great and immense state. On this trip we are going to take you right into the heart of Texas to see the great Texas Bluebonnet Festival.

Day 1:

This first day of our journey together will be a travel day. You will get a chance to get acquainted with your new traveling companions, make friends and enjoy the scenery as we make our way into Texas. We will overnight in Frisco, Texas.

Day 2:

Meals: Breakfast
We will start the next leg of our journey continuing down to Waco, Texas. Here we will stop for a tour of the Dr Pepper Museum. This historic landmark, built in 1906, was the first building dedicated to the manufacturing of Dr Pepper. Then we will hop over to a local attraction Magnolia Market at the Silos. (Yes fans, this is the one owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV’s Fixer Upper.) We will then continue on to our overnight stay in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Day 3:

Meals: Breakfast
We will spend most of our day enjoying local delights. To start the day off we will take a tour of the Pacific War Museum. As our journey is growing nearer to the grand festival, we thought we would whet your appetite by taking you to visit Wildseed Farms, a beautiful 1000 acre farm with more than 200 acres of gorgeous wildflowers. We will then continue on to our overnight in Bastrop, Texas.

Day 4:

Meals: Breakfast
Today we are in the heart of Bluebonnet country as we travel to Chappell Hill Texas.  Their Bluebonnet Festival was declared the “Official Bluebonnet Festival of Texas” by the Texas Legislature. The festival boasts of more than 250 juried exhibitors (home decor, artists, craftsman, jewelry, clothing) delicious country-style food, live entertainment and tours of the historic community.  After a day of shopping and hopefully seeing the Bluebonnets we will travel to Ennis Texas for our nights stay.

Day 5:

Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Today we spend some time in Dallas. First we head over to the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The next stop in this historic town is the Sixth Floor Museum, home to an artifact reflection of President John F. Kennedy. This evening we have something special planned: a trip to the legendary Southfork Ranch, made famous by the Ewing Family in the television series Dallas! The tour of this beautiful ranch includes dinner. We overnight tonight in Plano, Texas.

Day 6:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

This is our last day together as we head homeward, but before we say our goodbyes we will have a last meal together. As you enjoy a delicious home cooked Amish lunch, you will have a chance to look back at all the experiences you’ve had, the friends met, and the memories made. We are so happy you decided to travel with us and we hope you come back again.
