Day 6:

Lodging: Fairfield Inn

Meals: Breakfast

This morning we travel for just a bit and then land at none other than the Billy Graham Library. The self-guided Journey of Faith is about 1.5 hours. Billy Graham sees this site as an Ongoing Crusade. The core of the experience is the gospel and the transforming power it has to change a life that says yes to Jesus Christ. Our evening resting place is found in beautiful Gatlinburg, TN. Our early evening arrival gives you time to think of ways you’d like to spend your evening.

Day 7:

Lodging: Patti’s Inn

Directly following breakfast we mosey down the road to Knoxville, TN where we encounter the legendary Sunsphere Tower. This was the 1982 symbol for the World’s Fair.  On the 4th floor is the observation deck giving spectacular views of the Smokey Mountains and Tennessee River. Downtown Knoxville is also a stellar site from up here! Our afternoon brings us back through Nashville where Making Memories has a special delight found at the Grand Ole Opry in an exclusive backstage tour! What began as a radio show in 1925 has evolved into the leading platform to honor country music’s past while proudly propelling it forward. Our evening will be spent at Patti’s 1880s Settlement, a recreated historical log cabin village. Come for relaxation, a bite to eat, a casual stroll through town, unique shopping and beautiful gardens.  Patti’s is a reminder of when things moved slower. They received the Readers Choice Award for Best Small Town Restaurant in southeastern United States by the acclaimed Southern Living Magazine. Once we bite into their famous 2” pork chop, we might give them our own “Making Memories Tour Choice Award”! After dinner you’ll have time to meander the Settlement. Our lodging will be hosted by Patti’s Inn, a modern facility with conveniences of modern day life.
