Come with us for some good-old Southern Gospel music, at the nation’s biggest and best Gospel celebration, The National Gospel Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge Tennessee is celebrating 61 years of Christian Music.  This fabulous trip to the Volunteer state will not only enable you to hear and meet your favorite Southern Gospel performers and speakers, but on this musical escape we will be making a stop at the Ark Project, where we will be checking out this exact replica of Noah’s Ark, and have the opportunity to see some of the best shows Pigeon Forge has to offer.  This trip is sure to have us all tapping our toes and singing along.

Day One:

Our journey starts as we depart Springfield, MO. We travel through Missouri, IL and the lovely hill country of Southern Indiana into Corydon, IN to check into our hotel for the night.  Be sure to get a good night’s sleep because tomorrow the fun really begins!

Day Two:

Meals: Breakfast

Our day starts out early this morning as we board our coach and make the drive across into Kentucky for the Ark Experience.  Have you ever wondered how big the Ark really was, or how it was built? Now you can see it from the inside out—the size and scale of the original as recorded in the Bible!  This is sure to have made some lifelong memories and after our time here our travels take us into Pigeon Forge, TN, where our hotel and the Quartet Convention’s amazing Gospel music await our arrival.

Day Three:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

These next two days are very exciting! Use these free days to check out some of what Pigeon Forge has to offer like the Patty Waszak Morning Variety Show, The National Quartet Convention also gives you the opportunity to explore some of the more than 500 Exhibits, join in bible lessons, listen to nationally known speakers, and indulge ourselves at the large food court.  One of the most enjoyable portions of the tour, other than their music, is to get to meet your favorite performers up close.  They will often be found at their booths.

Day Four:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

How you decide to spend your free time; you will definitely be wanting to be at the convention each night for the nightly concerts featuring music, music and more music.

Day Five:

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

We say goodbye to Pigeon Forge today as our bus comes to start taking us home.  As a way of thanking you all for travelling with us on this musical adventure we’ll be enjoying a little farewell dinner tonight at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement.  Settle in for a fine meal served with generous portions of Southern hospitality here at Patti’s.

Day Six:

Meals: Breakfast

As we make our way home today we hope you will share pictures and stories of your melodious gospel experience. We would like to thank everyone who joined us on this harmonious journey.
