Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are places where you can feel your pace fall in sync with the rhythm of the sea, as the clean salt air breathes life into an afternoon.  This tour has so much diversity and beauty it’s really kind of hard to describe: from oceans to mountain from green hills to white beaches,  we’ll have a chance to go do a little whale watching and also we’ll have the unique opportunity to walk on the ocean floor.  Canada’s eastern coast is waiting for you to come and experience all she has to offer,  villages perched like matchsticks on boulders by the sea.  Lupins, Lighthouses, and Lobster Traps from the scenic Cape Breton Island to the urbanity of Halifax and gentle beauty of Prince Edward Island, you will be making memories enough to last a lifetime.

Day One:


Get ready to take off into a land of excitement and beauty where memories are made around every corner and you don’t have to worry about a thing.  We leave the U.S. today via a big metal bird, landing us in Halifax Nova Scotia where the fun begins.

Day Two:

We’ll kick off today with a guided tour of the city of Halifax, founded in 1749 Halifax is the capitol of Nova Scotia and is dominated by the hilltop Citadel, a star-shaped fort completed in the 1850s (We’ll be checking this out on our tour.)  The Grand Pre National Historic Site will be our next destination today,  once the epicenter of Acadian culture and now the most significant memorial to their tragic upheaval.  Learn the history and tragedy of the Acadians and French colonist that settled the Bay of Fundy.  Afterward we make our way to our hotel in Digby, NS.

Day Three:

How does a ferry ride sound today, because that’s on our agenda as we bid ado to Nova Scotia for now as our ferry takes us to New Brunswick.  Where we’re overnighting in Moncton, NB tonight.

Day Four:

The fourth day out on our journey together brings us to a Hopewell Rocks National Park.  The Hopewell Rocks is a place to pause…a place to appreciate a remarkable story interwoven through time, tide, and the intricacies of nature. These are the highest tides in the world. And they happen twice a day....every day.  Prepare yourself to discover the stuff of legends.  Flowerpot Rocks created by the clash of continents, carved by melting glaciers, and sculpted by the highest tides in the world. We arrive to view the high tides where water should by 40-45 feet high.  You can stay in the viewing area and watch the tides go out and begin to see the tops of the rocks.  If you prefer, you can visit the gift shop before having lunch at the High Tide Café.  After lunch, our guide will take us thru the interpretive Center and down to the beach where you can actually walk on the ocean floor to explore the secrets of nature.  After everyone has had their fill  of nature for the day we’ll be heading back to our hotel and you’ll be able to enjoy some free time for the rest of the day.

Day Five:

Better bring your sea legs today, because today we’ll be spending some time out on the water.  After we leave our hotel this morning we make our way to Shediac for a Lobster Tales Cruise. Onboard our hosts will teach us a little about lobsters, namely how to catch ‘em, crack ‘em and eat ‘em!  Our travels continue once we disembark as we make our way to our overnight in Caraquet, NB.

Day Six:

Kicking off our sixth day together we’ll be visiting the Village Historique Acadien, The Village historique acadien is a must-see attraction in New-Brunswick!  A living museum portraying the daily lives of the Acadians from 1770 to 1949.  This beautiful recreation of an Acadian Village will transport us all back through time for an amazing excursion that is guaranteed to make memories.  Our time here comes to an end (as all good things must) and we continue to the Cross Confederation Bridge after crossing we find ourselves in the stunningly beautiful land of Prince Edward Island where we will be overnighting for two nights.

Day Seven:

A fantastic day of beauty and history awaits us today, just be sure your camera is charged because you’ll be taking plenty of pictures.  Ahead of us today on Prince Edward Island is a full day of touring this magical island best known for its legend,  Anne of Green Gables.  We will visit the farm houses, mesmerizing seascapes, tiny villages and bustling harbors.  We will have brief photo stops at quaint little fishing villages and bustling, lighthouses and the world class Cavendish Beach.  We also will be visiting Founders Hall- Canada’s Birth Pavilion- and go through the Time Travel Tunnel before returning to hotel for the night.

Day Eight:

Our adventure continues today as our travels take us away from Prince Edward Island and back to Nova Scotia via a ferry ride.  Now sit back and relax as the take a scenic drive to Cape Breton Island, home to the world-renown Cabot Trail, one of the world’s must-see islands. The natural beauty of the highlands provides the perfect backdrop for breathtaking pictures.  The afternoon brings us to St. Peter’s Church for a short tour before checking into our hotel for the night here in Cheticamp, NS.

Day Nine:

Everybody should bring their sea legs again today because we’re going to be spending a lot of today out on the water as depart on another sea voyage.  This afternoon we will be taking a ferry across the open water to Newfoundland where we will be overnighting in , Port Aux Basques NL.

Day Ten:

As our day in Newfoundland begins we’ll depart our hotel and drive to the world famous Gros Morne National Park.  Gros Morne National Park is a never-ending series of wonders and delights, and a demonstration of the spectacularly raw and enigmatic beauty of the physical world. It is here where we will all have a chance to do a little walking on the Earth’s mantle. Now that is something to remember.

Day Eleven:

After leaving our hotel this morning Newfoundland unfolds before us as we drive through the heart of this beautiful land there is bound to be lots to see and take in as our travels across Newfoundland bring us into the lovely city of St. John where our hotel is awaiting us

Day Twelve:

Now a trip up to Nova Scotia just wouldn’t be complete without a bit of whale watching,  so guess what today has in store for us. Prepare yourself and be sure to bring your camera, because a true wildlife extravaganza awaits us!  A blizzard of puffins and a carnival of whales can be expected on this incredible cruise.  After our time on the ocean taking in the wildlife Nova Scotia is beckoning so we will head back to our ferry for our overnight voyage back to Nova Scotia.

Day Thirteen:

As you awake today and disembark the ferry another exciting day is waiting for you as we start our day off with a visit to St. Patrick’s Church Museum.  The oldest Roman Catholic church on Cape Breton Island, erected in 1828 in the Pioneer Gothic style of architecture, this restored stone building now houses artifacts depicting the religious history of Sydney, Nova Scotia.  Traveling onwards to our overnight in Baddeck, NS,  we have a picture stop in store at the beautiful Neil Harbor lighthouse.

Day Fourteen:

Start the day off with a rare glimpse into the extraordinary heart and mind of a world-famous inventor whose genius helped shape the modern world.  The Alexander Graham Bell Museum pulls back the curtain on Alexander Graham Bell’s interests and inventions. Feel his legacy come to life as you explore remarkable artifacts, photos and full-scale replicas that mark his masterful career.  Next we’ll arrive at Peggy’s Cove, to view  the most photographed Lighthouse in the world and have and included dinner at Sou’Wester Restaurant before we head on to our hotel in Goffs, NS for our last night.

Day Fifteen:

We return home today to share our experiences with family and friends. So as we climb aboard our plane today think back on everything you’ve seen and experienced on this exciting trip and just think of all the memories you’ve made.  We want to thank everyone for traveling with us we hope you made some unforgettable memories and we hope you come and travel with again sometime.
